The Child and Family Agency was established on 1st January 2014 and is responsible for a range of statutory functions including provision of child protection, alternative care, specified regulatory services and a range of family support services. The Agency has commenced a major improvement programme with significant focus on Practice, Culture and Structure.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Administration support to HWEAP services
- Support and deliver Occupational Health HR strategies to support and achieve corporate business objectives.
- Provide advice and support, particularly on Occupational Health matters.
- Coordinate existing Health, Wellbeing and EAP Occupational Health processes and propose new initiatives as necessary.
- Conduct analysis and generate reports from a range of data sources such as absenteeism figures.
- Ensure that all policies and procedures are compliant, effectively communicated, understood and adhered.
- Conduct risk assessments, including reviewing and updating existing risk assessments processes.
- Liaise with internal and external providers to deliver a regulatory compliant Occupational Health Service to Tusla staff.
- Partner with Departments Heads to identify opportunities for service development
- Execute assignments in accordance with agreed plans, time, budgets and deadlines.
- Maintain own knowledge of relevant procedures, practices and legislation to perform the role effectively and to ensure standards are met.
- Integrate Health and Wellbeing strategies to support and achieve corporate business objectives.
- Conduct analysis and generate reports from a range of data sources
- Ensure that all policies and procedures are compliant, effectively communicated, understood and adhered to.
- Co-ordinate the administration of working groups, record meeting minutes and generate reports.
- To coordinate the promotion of Health, Wellbeing and EAP programmes, including Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Healthy Ireland, Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) and Statutory Health Surveillance.
- Delivery of Training and Education programmes.
- ensuring materials are accurate, up-to-date and distributed to appropriate locations including the staff HUB site
- Remain current on laws, regulations, trends and best practices, particularly those that relate to diversity, equality, and workplace wellbeing related topics.
- Liaise with internal and external providers to promote diversity and cultural competence within Tusla.
- Partner with Departments Heads to identify and opportunities for service development.
- Execute assignments in accordance with agreed plans, time, budgets and deadlines.
- Co-ordinate meeting logistics, including but not limited to arrangements for meeting rooms, audio visual and food and beverage, in accordance with scheduled deadlines.
- Other projects and responsibilities as defined.

Health & Safety
- Comply with and contribute to the development of policies, procedures, guidelines and safe professional practice and adhere to relevant legislation, regulations and standards.
- Have a working knowledge of the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) Standards as they apply to the service for example National Standards for Child Protection and Care and comply with associated Tusla – Child and Family Agency protocols for implementing and maintaining these standards as appropriate to the role.
- To support, promote and actively participate in sustainable energy, water and waste initiatives to create a more sustainable, low carbon and efficient health service.

Applicants must by the closing date of application have the following:
- Candidates must be employed within Tusla - Child and Family Agency, the HSE or within outer statutory health agencies or a body which provides services on behalf of the HSE under section 38/39 of the Health Act 2004 or within a body that provides services on behalf of Tusla under section 59 of the Child and Family Act 2013.
- Have at least 2 years' administrative experience relevant to the requirements of the role.
- A minimum of 3 years broad based Administration or HR experience
- Experience of committee/working group administration.
- Proven track record of working on own initiative, as part of a team, to manage complex projects to deliver clear objectives in the required timeline to the highest standards.

- accordance with relevant legislation and monitoring compliance with same
- Possess sufficient administrative capacity to discharge the functions of the Grade.
